Getting Started...
Firstly, we would say “Congratulations from Shannon’s” on your special occasion! Should this be an engagement, wedding, anniversary, birthday…whatever the reason to celebrate we have the answer for your gift list. We pride ourselves on offering an excellent service, helping your friends and relatives choose the perfect gift for you.
How does it work?
We’d recommend that you create your list three months before your occasion. At Shannon’s there’s no need to book an appointment, just call in and one of our friendly staff will help you collate a list of items tailored to your specific needs.
If you'd prefer to take the time and create your own list thats fine...you are welcome to create your own list both instore and online. Once your list is created we reserve each item to ensure you have the chance to get everything you pick. Once an item has been purchased you’ll be notified and you have the choice to collect your gift or we can deliver all the gifts in one delivery.
What do I put on my list?
The worlds your oyster! With thousands of products to choose from you’ll have the choice to pick items which suit both your taste and needs. With years of experience our staff will advise you on the best items to add to your list. We recommend giving guests a good range of gifts to choose from…don’t underestimate how generous friends and family can be! Also, take the opportunity to upgrade items you may already own, such as bedding, towels and kitchen gadgets. If you’re looking items such as a bed or furniture we can add this to your list and advise guests that you’d appreciate contributions towards it.
How do I manage my list?
We understand that you may change your mind after creating your list or you may no longer require a particular item or you may have thought of something else you would like to add. We recommended that after creating your list and once it is published online you go through everything and make a list of amendments. If you require something to be changed just let us know and we’ll get it sorted.
