The washing
Please wash all terry
towels before first use. Due to our special and especially gentle Lifetime
Colour dyeing method, a pre-wash at 60 ° is no longer necessary. We
recommend to the environment a washing at 20 ° to 40 °.
The colour fastness
Please note that
white, light and intensively coloured laundry should always be washed
separately, as this can prevent discoloration or overflowing of the
colours. Heavy duty detergents should only be used for white laundry as
they contain optical brighteners. For your coloured towelling we recommend
you to use Colour / mild detergent, because the luminosity of the colours is
preserved.
The fabric softener
Please avoid using too
much fabric softener, as it will adhere to the fibers like a film, which could
adversely affect the absorbency of terry cloths as well as their
linting. If you have a tumble dryer, you can do without the addition of a
fabric conditioner completely, since our products are extremely fluffy with our
unique AIRpillow technology.
The fluff
Especially with
high-pile terry and velor qualities, it is quite normal that these are fluff at
the beginning something. With our unique AIRpillow technology, Vossen
terry towels are 90% less fluffy than traditional towels. If,
nevertheless, a strong lint formation occurs, which is caused by the friction
on the washing drum, this can be avoided by an optimal filling (no under- or
over-loading) of the washing machine. Please note the recommended capacity
of your washing machine manufacturer.
The drying
Since our products are
made from the natural product cotton, they can not be 100%
shrink-resistant. After washing, pull the terry towels in the semi-wet
state and make sure that the temperature of your dryer is not too high.
After drying
Drawn threads are no problem! Please avoid washing clothes together with hooks or zippers.
